Remembering 9-11

It is so nice, to just sit back and reflect on how lucky we are to have all the people around us that care for us, love us, and have faith in us!!
I remember last summer thinking about 9/11 but, sadly, I almost forgot it today!! It's amazing how the events of what happened that day have affected people in so many ways. There are those who are still bitter, those who are still coping with grief… and will for the rest of their lives. And those who took the devastation and loss of that day to open their hearts to brighter sunrises, longer ways to spend time with loved ones, telling themselves over and over that kids squabbling is just part of growing up. And reminding themselves that every where you turn you are in a line- up and …whether it is a short line or a long one… it's “okay” to say hi to whoever is near you because that may just brighten that other persons day. And then, when the day is over, you can lay your head down and know in your heart that your loved ones are as safe as they can be!
