Father
I Love You

As I was growing up, I sometimes mistook the encouragement you gave from your heart as lectures I did not want to hear. I guess I was too young to really understand the relationship between a Father and Son.
The years have now passed and I realize that your expectations of me were really a belief in me that I had not yet found in myself. Now, I realize that you saw before me the roads to many dreams… and had traveled them… while I was only learning to dream.
You showed me strength and from you I learned to be strong. You showed me your love of our family and from you I then knew the kind of Father that I wanted to be. You gave me the love of a Father and I learned the true meaning of respect.
I am grateful to you for raising me to be the man I am today. Thank you for being the example that any son would be proud to follow.
Thank you for being my Father!
I Love you.
