My Dear Daughter

Today, you begin a new direction in your life. I feel joy; such as I have known so many times since the day you were born. I have spent these years raising you and loving you with all of my heart.

Now, I must accept that you are moving on to a new and wondrous part of your life... on your own. How could these precious years passed by in such a short time...?

I raised you to reach for your dreams and to be confident in your strength and ability to reach them. Within myself I feel such pride in the person you have become. I am so thankful for having had the “privilege” of raising you.

I love you enough to let go of the adult you have become but I can never completely let go of “My Dear Daughter” within my heart. May God watch over you as you reach to fulfill every dream in your heart!
