I LOVE YOU FATHER

While I was growing up, I sometimes felt that your expectations of me were too high. I mistook the encouragement you gave me from your heart as lectures I did not want to hear…. Because of this, we have been through some difficult times together.

The years have since passed and I now realize that your “expectations” of me were really your belief and faith in me and my ability be the best person I could be. You encouraged me to set goals for what “I” wanted to achieve in my life and to hold on to the conviction in my heart that I could one day achieve them.

I am so grateful for everything you have done for me; especially your love and perseverance as a Father. Thank you for being the example that any Son would be proud to follow.
